Combining the aerodynamics of a deep-section TT wheel with the light weight of a shallower climbing wheel and mixing in the superior efficiency and sublime handling of a tubeless system-the Rapide CLX II delivers maximum speed for real-world riding. We developed distinctly different shapes for the Rapide CLX II front and rear rims. The result is a wheelset that catches less drag than most 65mm wheelsets and brings a dramatic 25% improvement in stability over 50mm rims in wind gusts. The Rapide CLX II utilizes a hooked rim (allowing for real-world riding pressures up to 110psi, if that's your thing) for secure tire bead retention and an easier set up and mounting experience than ever before. All in a wheel that almost doubles current industry impact standards while managing to achieve the lightest weight possible. Stan's Threaded Valve Extenders let you convert deep-section rims to tubeless. They're precision-machined from aluminum and are designed to fit deep-dish carbon and aluminum rims. And, they're threaded on the outside so you can install the Presta lock-ring nut for a perfect seal.

E-bikes add to the riding experience by simply providing more for less. More distance, more laps, more climbs, and more descents. With all those "mores" also comes more weight continually bashing on the components of an e-bike. In order to overcome the increased forces induced by the technological progression of modern e-bikes, we designed our HTZ rims with more material in every area of the rim prole. Every wall of the rim is 25-30% thicker in comparison to those on our standard rims, which we then paired with our proven I-Beam center support to ensure no beating was too great for these rims. All HTZ rims are TCS 2.0 tubeless, feature asymmetrical spoke drilling, and are available in widths ranging from i23 to i35 in order to provide options for e-bikes ranging from e-assist gravel bikes to dual-crown downhill bikes that no longer need a truck to be shuttled. In designing an upgraded hubset for our pro-proven Firecrest wheel lineup, we turned to our engineering colleagues at SRAM's development center in Schweinfurt, Germany. The result is the ZR1 hubsets for disc wheels. This hubset features better seal design for improved durability and quicker response with 66 points of engagement. Our engineers spent more than two years developing the ZR1. Proving the durability of the hubset included more than 58,500km of test riding, part of 3,222 hours of total testing. The ZR1 features key technology from Zipp's Cognition hubs. The seal design is the same as the Cognition, with a large dust cap at the base of the driver body and better bearing seals for more protection. The bearing size also is the same as the Cognition, although the Cognition uses a premium bearing. The six pawls are offset to work in two groups of three pawls. There are always three pawls engaging. This design creates a quick engagement feel, with 66 points of engagement. The driver body is designed so pawls stay in place for disassembly to make service convenient. Zipp hubs are designed to use J-bend spokes, the most popular type of spokes today.
